I ran into this beautiful animation that I just could not resist putting on my site...

 

 

 

OK, This post is not for anyone to see but just for myself. This is to remind me that I have commited myself to improve my life style. I will be doing the following to better my life:

• Be a Vegetarian. No Meat whatsoever. Not even eggs.
• No Alcohol, what so ever, in any form or feature.
• Implement GTD into everything
• Wake up early in the morning
• Go for a Walk
• Do some excercises
• Do Pranayama/Yoga
• Eat Healthy
• No Sodas
• More juices, fruits and green vegetables
• No impulse buying

 

 

I ran into this article the other day that I could relate to really well. So I thought I would put this up here so that I remember this.

My Pledge -

Awright. So this is my first post and I am thinking does it need to be special? What should I be talking about? Do I need to like chant anything or declare anything? I chose not to and keep it simple and sweet. After thinging about it for a second, I decided that I will start bmy blog by explaining the meaning of the word "Serendipity" and why I chose to name my blog Serendipity.

• What does "Serendipity" means?

As per theFreeDictionary.com the meaning of the word Serendippity goes like "Serendipity is finding something unexpected and useful while searching for something else entirely."   You can find more information about the history and origin of this word here   So there you go, now you know what this word means.

• Why choose this name, "Serendipity"?

Now why did I name my blog Serendipity. I will try to explain, I just graduated from my high school and started by undergrad at Guru Nanak Dev University (GNDU). It was in March 1993 that I got a chance to be a part of Thomso Festival of renouned Roorkee Engg. College. This is where I first got aqcuinted with this word. They had this word/vocabulary game that they named Serendipity and since then it just remained with me, reminding me of how much I need to learn. Well, I just noticed that I this post is starting to get long and story like. So I will cut it short. OK, so I got aqcuianted with this word at the Thomso festival and it has inspired me since to learn, explore and always remain hungry for knowledge. And thats why I named my blog reminding me of my good old days !!   And that is all I have to say for now.
